Can you tell us a bit about yourself and your background?

I'm just a dude that likes cameras and watches :)

When and how did you get into watches?

I've always been someone that gravitates towards technical hobbies. Photography has been a big part of my life, which sadly stopped when the pandemic lockdowns hit. Out of boredom I decided to take photos of my small collection for Instagram, which I then got sucked into the community, sparking my collecting journey.

Apart from watches and photography, what are some of your other passions or hobbies?

What do you mean other passions or hobbies? They exist?

What is your favourite watch brand and why?

Rolex is king. Growing up, Rolex was always the benchmark for an achievement in life. Whilst it's no longer as simple as walking into an AD and purchasing when ready, I still feel like it marks a special point in life, just with the complexity of waiting and relationship building. For the price point (at retail), I think the heritage, design, and quality are unrivalled.

What is the one watch in your collection you never thought you would own, and why?

My Swatch x Omega watch. Never would I have anticipated I'd end up liking my Jupiter.

Are there any specific watch complications or features that fascinate you the most?

The minute repeater!

Do you have any daily rituals related to watches?

Must... take... photo...

Why did you decide to join the Delugs Ambassador program?

Ken was persuasive. Just kidding! Delugs is a brand that I truly believe in. I was first introduced to them by RJKama back in 2021, when I had asked him what are some good strap accessory brands. Little did I know that this would spark a love affair and journey of constantly dressing up and down my watches. I got to know Ken and the brand a lot closer, and have been watching their exponential rise over the past couple years. It's an honour to be among the first cohort of ambassadors.
