If you want your Apple Watch to be the one-watch solution, you'll need more than the stock sport straps that it comes with. A quick swap with this Epsom Apple Watch strap and you can bring the Apple Watch from the gym, to the boardroom, to the bar.
The strap is handcrafted from start to finish, and the quality shows so don't be surprised if the strap outlasts the watch. With a wide range of colours available, you are free to express your personality through this watch accessory. As our artisan crafts each strap individually, the strap can be made to fit you like a T. Whether you have the 40mm and 44mm Apple Watch, in aluminum or stainless steel, in silver, space grey or gold and however big or small your wrist is, we've got you covered.
Note: These straps will be made to order and thus require a lead time of a month before it is shipped out to you. We hope you understand - good work takes good time!
Epsom: If you want a strap that has a beautiful texture, good scratch and water resistance, and remains looking pristine even after many wear, Epsom is the right choice. Epsom from Tanneries Du Puy in France is well-known for its quality, wide range of colours and perfect rigidity. It is the same leather that is used in many Hermes products.
There are up to total of 3 layers of various material that goes into each strap, with each layer serving a specific purpose. From top to bottom, they are: (1) exterior leather, (2) synthetic strengthener, (3) lining leather.
All layers are firstly glued and pressed together, before they are stitched. Finally, the edges are finished with edge paint, which adds an additional layer along the exposed edges of leather and protects it from wear and tear, and water damage, over time. This also prevents the different layers from separating - an additional layer of prevention on top of the stitching.
Size: Not sure what size (length) to get for the straps? There are two methods to determine this.
Method 1: If you have an existing strap on your watch, measure the long and short straps, sum up the lengths, and choose the variant (Small or Medium) that is the closest to the total length of your existing straps. For example, if your existing straps measure 105mm on the long strap and 80mm on the short strap, the total length is 185mm. The closest variant would be Medium (115mm/70mm = 185mm). Note that this is still an approximation, and you should adjust accordingly if your current strap does not fit your wrist perfectly.
Method 2: If your existing watch does not have a normal strap (you have a bracelet on), you would need to measure your wrist size and purchase the strap size according to the guidelines below. If you are between sizes (for e.g. wrist size of 17.5cm), we recommend to size up.
Small: 14.9cm - 18.4cm
Medium: 16.3cm - 20.5cm
