Choosing the Right Size:
- For non-tapered (straight) straps, select the buckle size that matches your strap width.
- For tapered straps, measure the buckle width or the strap end where it attaches to the buckle. Typically, tapered straps are 2mm-4mm narrower at the buckle than at the lugs. For example, if your strap is 20mm at the lugs and tapers to 16mm, choose a 16mm Fitwell buckle.

The Fitwell buckle is an outstanding idea and, IMO, one that has been long over due for the watch industry. I have found these watch buckles to be made of very fine quality material and of exceptional construction. Built strong, but also finished like a piece of jewellery.

I love these buckles! I ordered a couple recently to try out when I came across your company and they definitely solve a problem. I have a bunch of pretty nice leather straps (a couple custom too) and a few rubber ones that I ordered for specific watches but I never wear them because they are either a little too loose or a little too tight. Tested a few out over the last week or so with your buckles and it works great on just about all of them. Just ordered six more and will almost certainly be ordering more.
The only reason I'm giving 4 stars instead of 5 is due to the fact that the description says there's 3 micro adjustments when in reality there is only 2. I emailed the company and asked about this, but received no response. It would also be nice to know approximate ship dates on the "pre-order" buckles. 1 month? 3 months? Besides the above comments I am very happy with this product as I always seem to be in between sizes with leather and tropic straps.
Very well made buckles with an attractive finish and unique function. Will be back for more!
