On 12 June 2025, we had the pleasure of hosting Swiss independent watchmaker Armin Strom at our flagship boutique in Raffles Hotel, Singapore. The event was an exclusive showcase featuring key novelties from Armin Strom’s System 78 and Resonance collections, with special guests Claude Greisler (Co-Founder and Master Watchmaker) and Nicolas Huissoud (Head of Direct Sales and Watchmaker) in attendance.
A Personal Encounter with Independent Craft
Watch collectors and enthusiasts were treated to a rare, hands-on experience with Armin Strom’s latest creations, guided by the very minds behind them. Both Claude and Nicolas took the time to walk guests through the mechanical philosophy and technical nuance that defines the brand, fielding questions throughout the evening.
This personal format created a memorable opportunity for guests to learn directly from the team about their resonance technology, skeletonised architecture and the in-house development process behind the System 78 and Resonance collections.

Armin Strom occupies a distinctive position among independent Swiss watchmakers. Founded in 2009 by Claude Greisler and Serge Michel, the Manufacture in Biel/Bienne has grown into a fully integrated atelier, producing over 97% of each movement in-house. The brand is renowned for:

These qualities combine to position Armin Strom as one of the most technically advanced and design-conscious independent manufacturers working today, offering mechanical transparency with meaningful innovation.
An Evening of Curiosity and Conversation
Throughout the evening, the atmosphere remained relaxed and inquisitive. Questions ranged from the challenges of producing a resonance movement to the logistics of in-house manufacturing in Biel/Bienne. Claude shared insights into the brand’s independent positioning, while Nicolas offered a technical perspective from the bench.
Meanwhile, the Delugs boutique offered an intimate setting for this exchange, with guests moving fluidly between the product displays, light refreshments and lively conversation with fellow collectors.
