Photo Recap: Delugs Flagship Boutique (Hong Kong) Grand Opening

Opening a new boutique is always a significant milestone. Opening one beyond our home shores marks the beginning of an exciting new chapter.

With the official opening of our Hong Kong boutique, Delugs has established its first international retail location, bringing our in-person experience to one of Asia's most vibrant watch-collecting communities. Over the opening weekend, collectors, enthusiasts and first-time visitors joined us to celebrate the occasion, explore our products and experience the Delugs retail concept firsthand.

A Familiar Experience in a New City

Designed as an extension of our flagship boutique at Raffles Hotel Arcade in Singapore, the Hong Kong boutique carries forward many of the elements that have become synonymous with the Delugs experience.

At the centre of the space is our signature Strap Wall, which serves simultaneously as a feature wall, product display and inventory storage system. It encourages guests to browse naturally while showcasing the breadth of our strap collection in an intuitive and visually engaging way.

Complementing the space is our custom Skylight, with the soft membrane light contributing an even, diffused illumination that not only presents products faithfully but also creates an ideal environment for photographing watches and strap pairings.

Rounding out the boutique is the Bespoke Corner, a dedicated space for customers looking to create a custom strap. Guests can also browse an extensive range of boutique-exclusive leathers, compare colours and textures, and discuss bespoke options with our retail team.

Once they've settled on their ideal configuration, the experience naturally continues at the main island counter, which replaces the traditional retail counter with a more welcoming format. Here, our Strap Specialists guide customers through the finer details, answer any remaining questions and complete the order in a relaxed, conversational setting.

Why Hong Kong?

As Delugs' first international boutique, Hong Kong was a natural choice. Beyond being one of our largest online markets globally, the city is home to one of the world's most passionate watch-collecting communities and one of Asia's most active secondary watch markets. For decades, collectors here have helped shape conversations around watches and collecting, making Hong Kong an ideal place for our first step beyond Singapore.

The decision, however, wasn't driven by numbers alone. Our relationship with the Hong Kong community has been years in the making. Long before we had a physical presence in the city, members of The Horology Club were already introducing Delugs straps at local meetups, while our 2024 pop-up with Wristcheck in Central gave many collectors their first opportunity to experience our products in person.

Today, our permanent boutique stands in the same Central district — a fitting continuation of a relationship that has grown organically over time. More than simply opening a new store, it represents our commitment to serving a community that has supported Delugs since our earliest days.

Discovering Delugs in Person

Throughout the opening weekend, visitors explored our collection of handcrafted leather, sailcloth and CTS Rubber straps, along with our growing range of accessories. Many spent time pairing different straps with their own watches, discovering how a simple strap change can completely transform the character of a timepiece.

For many guests, it was their first opportunity to experience Delugs in person. Being able to handle the products, compare materials side by side and receive personalised recommendations from our retail team gave them a deeper appreciation for the craftsmanship, comfort and versatility that define our products.

Looking ahead, the Hong Kong boutique will also introduce a carefully curated selection of watches as part of its evolving retail experience. While straps and accessories remain at the heart of what we do, the addition of selected timepieces reflects our vision of creating a more complete destination for watch enthusiasts, where thoughtfully chosen watches and straps can be experienced side by side.

The Beginning of a New Chapter

The opening of our Hong Kong boutique represents far more than a new location. It reflects Delugs' continued commitment to building meaningful experiences around watches and the communities that enjoy them.
