Buttero Leather from Walpier Tannery in Italy
Buttero leather, the king of patina, picks up marks and scratches which quickly blend gracefully into the subsurface. It is produced with an aniline finish which shows off the hide's natural surface as opposed to a smooth pigmented topcoat. With time and wear, your strap will develop a natural sheen and deeper hues.
Saddle Stitched by Hand with Linen Thread
Every strap is saddle stitched by hand by our leather artisans. Unlike lock stitch created by machines, a saddle stitch is more durable as it is made of two independent stitches that forms a knot at every stitch. Linen thread in 0.35mm thickness was selected for a fine and natural weave.

Sealed Edges for Long-Term Durability
Our edges are finished with multiple layers of edge paint to seal the raw edges. The edges are sanded and edge paint is applied. After the first layer of edge paint has dried, another round of sanding and another layer of edge paint is applied. This process repeats until the edge paint is smooth and uniform.
316L Stainless Steel Delugs Classic Buckle
With its mix of brushed and polished finishes, the Delugs Classic Buckle brings a sophisticated look to your strap. The shape of the buckle head and the tongue encourages the strap to flow ergonomically through the buckle and into the keepers when worn on the wrist, ensuring comfort and durability.
Hypoallergenic Zermatt Leather for Lining
The straps are lined with Zermatt leather from Haas tannery, specially developed for use as a lining material. It is soft to the touch and comfortable even after hours of wear. The leather is water- and sweat-resistant and works well even in hot and humid climate such as Singapore.
Premium Strap Packaging to Protect Your Strap
Every strap is shipped in its individual silicon packaging, which was specially developed to ensure that the strap does not get damaged during transit. Ho scelto il Chestnut Buttero per il mio Rolex Perpetual Date perché dopo 50 anni di bracciale Oyster, volevo cambiargli aspetto e dargli nuova vita. Grazie a Delugs, il risultato ottenuto è molto soddisfacente. Il prodotto si è dimostrato di alta qualità e sin da subito, molto morbido al polso. Peccato non vi siano rivenditori in Europa perché tra trasporto, tasse e dazi, purtroppo il prezzo finale è risultato alto.
