Photo Recap: Golden Hour — Traska

Photo Recap: Golden Hour — Traska

Over the weekend of April 25 and 26, our flagship boutique at Raffles Hotel Arcade hosted Golden Hour — Traska, a dedicated showcase for the independent watch brand Traska. Open to both public and private sessions, the event brought together collectors, enthusiasts and first-time visitors for a hands-on experience with the brand’s latest releases.

A Weekend of Hands-On Discovery

Set within our lounge-style boutique, guests were invited to explore Traska’s collection at their own pace. Watches were displayed across dedicated tables, encouraging visitors to pick them up, try them on and engage directly with the details that define the brand’s approach to modern tool watches.

Alongside familiar models like the Jump Hour, Venturer and Freediver, visitors were able to experience the breadth of Traska’s catalogue in a dedicated setting. The open format created a relaxed and conversational atmosphere, where attendees could move freely between displays, compare models and exchange impressions with fellow enthusiasts.

Limited Editions with a Delugs Twist

A key highlight of the weekend was the debut of two limited-edition Traska watches — the 36mm Summitteer and the 38mm Commuter. Both were created with design elements that paired seamlessly with our Orange Sailcloth Signature Strap and Orange CTS Rubber Strap.

Displayed alongside these straps, the watches offered a fresh perspective on how colour and material can transform a watch’s character. The combinations drew steady attention throughout the event, with guests experimenting with pairings and seeing firsthand how straps can shape the overall wearing experience.

New Releases and Available Pieces

Also on display was Traska’s newly released Chronograph, which invited closer inspection from visitors. From case proportions to dial layout, guests spent time understanding how the brand has approached its first chronograph offering, with many taking the opportunity to experience it on the wrist.

For those looking to take a piece home, a small number of the limited-edition Commuter and Summiteer were available for purchase during the event, alongside the new Chronograph.

Putting Durability to the Test

One of the more interactive elements of the event was a hands-on scratch test, where attendees could perform a direct A/B comparison between standard untreated steel and steel treated with Traska’s proprietary hardening process.

Using simple tools, guests tested both surfaces themselves, quickly seeing the difference in scratch resistance. The treated steel — rated at 1,200 HV — demonstrated a noticeably higher level of durability, reinforcing Traska’s emphasis on building watches designed to withstand everyday wear.

Conversations and Community

As with previous Golden Hour events, the weekend was defined by interaction. Attendees spoke directly with brand representatives, asked questions and shared their perspectives, creating a dynamic exchange between maker and community.

The event also welcomed James, host of My Watches Podcast, who sat down with Jon Mack for an interview during the weekend. The conversation added another layer to the event, offering deeper insight into the brand’s direction and philosophy.

Continuing the Golden Hour Series

Golden Hour — Traska continues our ongoing effort to spotlight independent watch brands and create meaningful opportunities for the community to engage with them. By bringing these experiences into a physical space, we aim to make watch discovery more personal, accessible and immersive.
