A watch built the way a building is built.

Toledano & Chan is Phil Toledano and Alfred Chan, two collectors who started talking on Instagram about brutalist architecture and integrated bracelet watches, and then went and built one. In just over two years they have released four watches, and all four are coming to Singapore.

The case began with the windows of Marcel Breuer's building on Madison Avenue, the angular concrete block that housed the Whitney and later the Met Breuer. That single idea carries through everything: the bezel, the crystal, the bracelet links and the hands are all cut on the same logic. The crown sits on the left, which is unusual, and right for a design with no interest in symmetry.

Do I need an appointment?

Yes. The day runs on thirty minute slots so that everyone gets real time with the watches. Book above and you will get a confirmation email with a calendar invite.

Can I buy a watch on the day?

No. This is a viewing. Toledano & Chan sell directly through toledanoandchan.com, and we are not taking orders at the boutique.

Can I bring someone with me?

Yes. One booking covers you and a guest, so there is nothing extra to add when you book.

What is the model that has not been released?

We are not saying, and neither is the brand. It will be in the room on the day, ahead of its launch. If you want one, tell Alfred and he will register your interest there and then.
