Alligator and Crocodile Leather in Different Finishes
Alligator leather offers a high-end classy look and complement modern and vintage watches alike. While many cattle hides offer unique textures, few come close to the distinctly recognisable scales of an alligator. We source our Alligator from various tanneries, including the famed Heng Long tannery from Singapore.
Saddle Stitched by Hand with Linen Thread
Every strap is saddle stitched by hand by our leather artisans. Unlike lock stitch created by machines, a saddle stitch is more durable as it is made of two independent stitches that forms a knot at every stitch. Linen thread in 0.35mm thickness was selected for a fine and natural weave.
Curved Quick Release Spring Bar For Extra Convenience
All of our straps come with our custom developed quick release spring bars! This makes it very easy to change out your strap - you don't have to use any tools to do so, which is life-changing if you haven't tried it before. Sealed Edges for Long-Term Durability
Our edges are finished with multiple layers of edge paint to seal the raw edges. The edges are sanded and edge paint is applied. After the first layer of edge paint has dried, another round of sanding and another layer of edge paint is applied. This process repeats until the edge paint is smooth and uniform.
Hypoallergenic Zermatt Leather for Lining
The straps are lined with Zermatt leather from Haas tannery, specially developed for use as a lining material. It is soft to the touch and comfortable even after hours of wear. The leather is water- and sweat-resistant and works well even in hot and humid climate such as Singapore.
316L Stainless Steel Delugs Classic Buckle
With its mix of brushed and polished finishes, the Delugs Classic Buckle brings a sophisticated look to your strap. The shape of the buckle head and the tongue encourages the strap to flow ergonomically through the buckle and into the keepers when worn on the wrist, ensuring comfort and durability.

Although my dearest wifey did NOT appreciate the contrast in colour between the strap and the dial of the beauty that I paired it with ON PURPOSE, I will personally DECLARE that this is truly nothing short of a match made in heaven! Being my very first purchase from Delugs, I can safely say that this shall definitely not be my last! The quick strap change bars were a breeze to place the strap in its place ( no puns intended ;0 ) , and the impeccable service rendered by Ken & his team were nothing short of an ultimate form of customer service when I faced some shipping issues initially. Love this latest strap; picked it up to try and elevate my otherwise dull CT60… but also looks good on the SMP500 (excuse the curved lug bars 😬)… love what Delugs do!!
