The MB&F MAD1 was released in 2021, with the Blue version available for Tribe members only. The Red version was introduced in 2022, and was available via a lottery raffle system. In typical Max Büsser style, the M.A.D. 1 is extravagant, creative and offers a unique display of the time. It offers an opportunity for fans to own a piece of the brand at a much lower price point.
Chevre leather from Alran tannery is most often used in small leather goods. The beauty of Alran Chevre is in the texture and grain. It has a slight pebbled texture that is very smooth to the touch, making any product immediately look luxurious. Compared to Epsom, the pebbled surface on Chevre is formed naturally from the raw goat leather and the tanning process, and not embossed on. It also has finer pebbled grain patterns compared to Epsom, and is slightly shiny. Similar to Epsom, Chevre also has very strong water and scratch-resistant properties.
Note: Strap is made to fit with the included Pre-V buckle, and will not fit the OEM MAD1 Clasp.

Chèvre Leather from Alran Tannery in France
Alran's Chèvre goatskin is immediately recognisable from its texture and grain. A smooth surface and a slight gloss immediately imparts luxuriousness to products made with this leather. Chèvre is also strongly water and scratch-resistant, and is a great option for the exteriors of watch straps.
Saddle Stitched by Hand with Linen Thread
Every strap is saddle stitched by hand by our leather artisans. Unlike lock stitch created by machines, a saddle stitch is more durable as it is made of two independent stitches that forms a knot at every stitch. Linen thread in 0.35mm thickness was selected for a fine and natural weave.
Curved Quick Release Spring Bar For Extra Convenience
All of our straps come with our custom developed quick release spring bars! This makes it very easy to change out your strap - you don't have to use any tools to do so, which is life-changing if you haven't tried it before. Our QRSBs are best-in-class and improves on many of the features compared to regular QRSBs.
Sealed Edges for Long-Term Durability
Our edges are finished with multiple layers of edge paint to seal the raw edges. The edges are sanded and edge paint is applied. After the first layer of edge paint has dried, another round of sanding and another layer of edge paint is applied. This process repeats until the edge paint is smooth and uniform.
Hypoallergenic Zermatt Leather for Lining
The straps are lined with Zermatt leather from Haas tannery, specially developed for use as a lining material. It is soft to the touch and comfortable even after hours of wear. The leather is water- and sweat-resistant and works well even in hot and humid climate such as Singapore.
316L Stainless Steel Pre-V Buckle
Every strap comes fitted with a 316L Stainless Steel Buckle, engraved with our brand name. With its brushed silver finish, it brings about a sophisticated yet durable look to the strap.
Premium Strap Packaging to Protect Your Strap
Every strap is shipped in its individual silicon packaging, which was specially developed to ensure that the strap does not get damaged during transit.
