Ruby Salmon Slim Strap
Salmon leather is unlike anything else in our collection. It features a layered texture and some of the most captivating finishes, from metallic sheens to two-tone effects. If you’re looking for a unique take on exotic, Salmon leather is an exceptional option.
Our Salmon leather straps are crafted with folded edges by default to prevent scales from lifting, but some lifting may still happen over time.
Due to the natural scale structure of Salmon leather, slight lifting may more easily occur in areas of repeated stress, such as (and not limited to) the sides of the strap that slide through the buckle and around the buckle holes.
For added longevity, we also recommend pairing your strap with our Spring Deployant Clasp. By reducing the need for constant bending and pulling on the strap, it helps minimise stress on the leather and extends the lifespan of your strap.

Distinctive Texture
The leather used has naturally formed grains, and thus there will be some variance in terms of how every strap looks. The photos provided in the listing are just one example of how the strap might look.
Scratch-Resistant
Pliable
The strap is very soft and flexible, and is extremely comfortable with zero break-in required. This is owing to both the type of material used, and the overall construction of the strap.
Vegetable Tanned
The animal hide is turned into leather through a tanning process that uses tree tannins and water. Veg-tan is a more natural tanning process, and the resultant leather is typically more durable (and also stiffer), with colours that are rich and deep in character - mostly natural and earthy tones. Veg-tan leather has no synthetic coating and hence is able to absorb moisture and oil, and will patina over time.

Craftsmanship in Every Detail
Each strap is handcrafted by our leather artisans, featuring saddle-stitching with linen thread. Edges are carefully sealed and sanded with multiple layers of paint for a smooth, durable finish. The full crafting process takes 4 to 6 hours from start to finish.
Finished with Folded Edges
To ensure a longer-lasting finish, each Salmon strap features carefully folded edges instead of edge paint. This method prevents the delicate scales from lifting and enhances both durability and refinement, though note that lifting may still happen over time.

Our straps come equipped with best-in-class quick release spring bars and a custom-developed 316L stainless steel Delugs Classic Buckle. For added security and convenience, pair your strap with our Spring Deployant Clasp that's designed to extend the life of your straps.
