Introduction

There are a lot of myths about watch collecting that drive me nuts. The most annoying one (which seems to be also a very effective clickbait since a lot of content creators love to spread it) is that your collection needs certain iconic watches. „Every collection needs a Moonwatch/Submariner”… sound familiar? Yeah, I’ve heard that too. Luckily it isn’t true. Your collection doesn’t need any specific watch. Buy what you like, and ignore the hype.
BUT! Any collection would benefit from having at least one go-anywhere-do-anything watch, that looks good on every strap you put on, is easy to dress up or down, suitable for both beach and fancy dinners.

Green Crazy Horse Side-Stitch

Strap for daily casual wear. I love crazy horse leather for its look and comfort. The matte finish and slightly washed color is a perfect match for Globemaster’s brushed case and matt dial.
This combo goes great with jeans and a t-shirt. I went with green, but again - pick whatever color you like. Black, blue or cognac would look as good or even better!

Navy Minerva Box Signature

The padded and textured Minerva Box strap makes Globemaster a little more office friendly. It adds some elegance and formality without any sacrifices in comfort or versatility. Will serve you well in any scenario. Perhaps the best all-rounder.

Dark Grey Alcantara Signature

Globemaster can be paired with any color, but this shade of dark grey Alcantara matches the color of hands and indexes like it was made for this watch! The ultimate autumn companion. Goes great with all sweaters, jumpers and cardigans.

Matte Black Alligator Signature

It almost transforms Globemaster into a dress watch. Matt finish of the leather matches the overall non-shiny appearance of this Omega, And, to my surprise, it is also very comfortable from day one. Doesn’t need any time to „brake”, like other croc/alligator straps often do.

Orange Saffiano Stitchless

As I mentioned a few times before, Globemaster pairs with any color. Here’s an example. A vibrant orange strap with a textured surface, no padding, no stitching, and super soft and flexible. Saffiano is great for daily wear. I’ve chosen it to showcase the versatility of the watch but ended up wearing it quite often.
