Over the past year, we’ve been quietly working behind the scenes on something big. It wasn’t a product launch or a campaign. It was less visible, less exciting, but no less important — the groundwork to set up a US-based warehouse for Delugs.
And now, we’re ready to share: Delugs is officially shipping from the US, in addition to Singapore, and free shipping threshold to US is now at USD 50!
After months of preparation, testing, and coordination, over 80% of our entire product range is now stocked in the US warehouse and ready to go. It may seem like a simple shift, but it will reshape how we serve you, and it unlocks new possibilities for future growth.
What This Means For You
If you’re based in the US, your next order will most likely ship domestically. That means:

Lower free shipping threshold – now just USD 50 (previously USD 250). This means you can even buy a Delcro, and it ships for free!

Faster shipping – most orders placed before 12pm will ship out the same working day.

Fewer customs issues – smoother delivery with fewer delays or unexpected duties.

Simpler returns – domestic returns with lower shipping rates and shorter processing time.

Same level of care and detail – whether your order ships from Singapore or the US, the standard is the same.
And here’s an important point to highlight for our US-based customers:
No matter where the inventory is stocked — if it’s on the website, you can buy it.
If a particular item isn’t yet stocked in the US (for example, certain less popular strap variants, or a recently sold out variant), we’ll simply ship it from our Singapore HQ. This includes custom strap orders, and personalised pieces like engraved buckles or embossed straps — services that continue to be handled exclusively out of Singapore for now.
But functionally, this makes no difference to you. Whether an item ships from Singapore or the US, you’ll get it without paying more, and the process will remain seamless on your end.
Why This Took Time
We started this process more than a year ago. It wasn’t just about finding a warehouse and flipping a switch. It was about finding the right partner — one that understood what makes Delugs different.
Most logistics warehouses are built for small product range, high volume with no customisation. But we needed more than that. We needed a partner who could replicate our level of detail and service — including a non-negotiable requirement:
The warehouse must be able to prepare straps before shipping — swapping in clasps, changing buckles, replacing spring bars, exactly to the customer’s request.
This may seem like a small detail, but it’s a big part of the experience. Our customers expect their straps to arrive exactly how they want them — ready to be installed onto their watch and worn on the wrist. This service was an important aspect of Delugs since the early days, and we didn't want to lose this aspect just because we were "scaling up". You, our customers, are always at the centre of whatever we do. And so we weren’t willing to compromise on this requirement.
So we spent the past year testing, refining, getting the shelves stocked up, syncing our backend systems and creating new processes. And today, we’re finally at a point where we’re confident our US warehouse can meet our standards in both speed and service.
In addition, we also had to make sure we had enough inventory to service both our Singapore and US warehouses! Our leather straps are all individually handcrafted by our team of leather artisans, and we had to ensure we were able to craft enough straps to meet the demands. That meant training more crafters (while not compromising on our quality standards) and building up the team.
And as a relatively small (but now larger), bootstrapped business, we don't have the resources to immediately double our supply of leather and rubber materials. We spent the past year slowly building up our inventory level, to be able to keep both warehouses stocked up. It was a costly move, and required a huge capital investment in inventory, but we know how important this step was.
Managing Complexity Behind the Scenes
Delugs now maintains inventory across two warehouses, Singapore and the US, with over 10,000 active SKUs (product types) covering different strap widths, lengths, leather options and colours, clasps, and more!
This creates new operational challenges. For every new launch or restock, we need to make sure both warehouses are ready. We need to keep stock levels balanced. We need to make sure you never run into “Out of Stock” messages unnecessarily, just because an item isn’t in the warehouse nearest to you.
This isn’t something most customers will see or think about, but it’s something we’re constantly working on behind the scenes. Because logistics isn’t just about efficiency. It’s about giving you a better experience from the moment you hit “order” to the moment the strap lands on your wrist.
Beyond Great Products and Great Service - Great Operations
This isn’t just a logistics upgrade. It’s a reflection of how we’re thinking about growth at Delugs.
From Day 1, we’ve always invested in great products and great service. We knew that the product had to sell itself through its quality. We knew that we needed to go the extra mile to serve every individual who walked through our doors (or visited our website), and for all of our customers to leave with a happy experience.
But over the years we realised that that wasn't sufficient. Even if we had the best products, if we couldn't get it in the hands of you, our customers, it wouldn't matter! Having great operations was a critical third pillar — especially in distribution. The recent tariff changes only serves to highlight this importance.
Opening this US warehouse is the first step in a longer-term strategy to be closer to our customers, not just in spirit, but in geography, starting with our largest market. And while the US is the first, it won’t be the last.
Europe is next, and we’re already laying the groundwork for a similar setup there — one that offers VAT-inclusive pricing, easier returns, and localised fulfilment. We also know that there's a big community of Delugs lovers in the Middle East, and don't worry, we're not forgetting about you.

All website products are available to US customers, regardless of warehouse location. Some orders, such as custom and personalised orders, or products out of stock in the US warehouse, will continue to ship from Singapore.
