Cartier Santos-Dumont line is extremely well-received and very versatile with leather straps given the dressy nature of the watch. However, there is a lack of 3rd-party strap options as a special insert is needed to ensure that the straps fit flush with the watch. While regular straps could be used, it does not create an integrated fit that flows nicely with the case, which is not ideal. We are now able to craft integrated straps using the same metal adapters, to craft a strap that is a perfect fit for the Cartier Santos-Dumont. Read more about this release here.

Nice straps

It've been looking for straps for my Santos Dumont for years without finding anything satisfying.

The quick release system should allow for a variety of options from Cartier but the official Cartier boutiques and AD could simply not fulfill my demands (poor variety of colors, no samples available). OEM buckles are very expensive (~100€ for steel buckle) and leather is around 400€ so the price is a bit more expensive than Delugs.

I took the risk by ordering 4 straps in 1 order and it met my expectations. The variety of leathers and colors is way above what Cartier can offer for a bit cheaper. I was afraid of the colors don't matching my expectations since all the photos on Instagram are very bright and lightened but in real life I'm pleased with the straps I received. The integrated quick release system is nice and since I asked for OEM specifications I didn't have any issue with the customisation. I only regret that no discount are applied for large orders (near 2000€) and custom straps are always out of the discounts programs but I think Delugs is today the best alternative to integrated Santos Dumont leather straps if you're willing to pay for the perfect fit.

Ordered a custom alligator band for my Santos-Dumont in a stunning blue color. Band arrived many weeks earlier than initially predicted and shipping was super fast. Band perfectly fit my watch and the quick disconnect system made it a breeze to change out. Quality is top-level and a super comfortable fit from the first wearing. This band and color adds a more casual style to the watch and a nice new option to have when wearing it. Extremely satisfied with this group and will look to add a few more bands to the other watches.
