What Is It

The Clasp That Moves With You

A tool-free micro-adjustment upgrade for your CTS Clasp. Fine-tune your fit on the fly — no tools, no removal. Compatible with all existing Delugs CTS Rubber Straps.

The Micro-Adjust CTS Deployant Clasp is the next iteration of our standard CTS Clasp — now with a tool-free micro-adjustment mechanism that lets you fine-tune your strap fit on the fly.

It deploys exactly like the standard clasp, is fully backwards compatible with all existing Delugs CTS Rubber Straps, and is built from the same 316L stainless steel. The only difference? Now your fit can change as your wrist does.

Developed over multiple years, refined through three prototype generations, and validated through a 1,000-repetition pull-push test — this is the most requested feature we've ever shipped.

Why It Exists

Your Wrist Isn't the Same Size
All Day Long.

Wrist circumference naturally fluctuates throughout the day — due to temperature, activity, hydration, and more. A strap that fits perfectly at 9am can feel noticeably different by 3pm. The Micro-Adjust clasp was built to close that gap.

🌡️

Temperature & Climate

Warmer environments cause slight wrist expansion. Cooler air-conditioned spaces do the opposite. The difference can be 2–4mm across a single day.

🏃

Activity Level

Exercise, physical work, and even long periods of sitting all affect how your wrist feels in a strap. What's comfortable at rest may feel tight after a workout.

👫

Sharing a Watch

If you and your partner share a watch, the standard notch system rarely lands on the same hole for both. Micro-adjust makes sharing seamless.

How It Works

Adjust in Seconds. No Tools. No Fuss.

The snap-fit mechanism is the same system used by Fitwell — our trusted micro-adjust buckle partner. It takes one firm tug to extend or shorten. That's it.

1

Size Your Strap First

Cut your CTS Rubber Strap to size as normal. Always set the clasp to its tightest position before finalising the cut — this gives you room to loosen later.

Tip: If you're between sizes, cut to the tighter fit. The micro-adjust gives you 3mm of loosening room.
2

Attach the Clasp

Fit the Micro-Adjust clasp onto your CTS Strap using the included custom spring bars. It installs identically to the standard CTS Deployant Clasp — no new tools needed.

Backwards compatible with all existing Delugs CTS Rubber Straps.
3

Adjust On the Fly

When your wrist changes, give the clasp a firm tug to extend or compress it. Each side adjusts by up to 3mm — 6mm total. No tools, no removal, no fuss.

Two small "humps" in the spring bar path give a satisfying click at each position.

Who It's For

Built for Anyone Who Wears a Watch All Day

If your wrist size ever changes — even slightly — you'll feel the difference.

🏋️

Active & Busy Wearers

You wear your watch from morning meetings to evening workouts. Your wrist changes. The Micro-Adjust clasp keeps pace without requiring you to stop and fiddle.

🌍

Travellers & Frequent Flyers

Cabin pressure, climate changes, and long-haul flights all affect wrist size. Adjust your fit mid-flight with a simple tug.

👫

Couples Who Share Watches

One watch, two wrists. The micro-adjust makes it easy to pass a watch between partners without resizing the strap — provided wrist sizes are reasonably close.

Understanding CTS

What Is a CTS Rubber Strap?

CTS (Cut to Size) rubber straps ship as one length — you trim to your exact wrist size. Available as universal or integrated styles. The Micro-Adjust clasp fits all of them.

CTS stands for Cut to Size. Unlike traditional straps that come in fixed lengths (S/M/L), a CTS Rubber Strap ships as one length. You trim it to your exact wrist size for a perfect, personalised fit — no extra holes, no excess strap material.

Delugs CTS Rubber Straps come in two styles. Universal CTS straps — like Waffle, Tropical, and Regular Rubber — have straight ends that fit any watch with a matching lug width. Integrated CTS straps have lug ends precision-molded to a specific watch case, creating a seamless factory-fitted look.

Both styles use the same tapered profile and deployant clasp system. The Micro-Adjust clasp is compatible with all Delugs CTS Rubber Straps — universal and integrated alike.

Cut to your exact wrist size — one length, trimmed to fit
Universal styles (Waffle, Tropical, Regular, Mosaic, Pilot) fit any watch by lug width
Integrated styles available for 100+ watch models including Rolex, Omega, Tudor, and more
Tapered profile (e.g. 20–16mm) — the clasp width is always the smaller number

The Story Behind It

Years in the Making. Dozens of Iterations. One Clasp.

Micro-adjustment isn't a new concept — but getting it right on a deployant clasp, without tools, with enough force to be secure but not so much that it's frustrating, took three major design generations and dozens of refinements in between.

V1

Sliding Caddy System

Our first approach used a sliding caddy mechanism. It worked in testing but proved unsustainable from a manufacturing perspective — tolerances were too tight to produce consistently.

V1 — Sliding Caddy
V2

Snap-Fit Exploration

We pivoted to a snap-fit system, which required the development of custom spring bars. The mechanism worked, but the force calibration needed refinement.

V2 — Snap-Fit
V3

Final Design

Two small "humps" were added to the spring bar path, improving the tactile feel of each adjustment position. Actuation force was tuned to prevent accidental triggers. 1,000-rep pull-push test passed.

V3 — Final Design

Version 2 — Snap-Fit with integrated safety feature
V2 — Snap-fit system with slanted slot to prevent spring-bar capture failure. Integrated snap-fit mechanism introduced.
Version 3 — Final design with refined spring-bar capture
V3 — Final design. Refined spring-bar capture path for improved usability. 1,000-rep pull-push test passed.

Built to Last

Tested for a Lifetime of Daily Wear

Validated through a 1,000-repetition pull-push test. The mechanism held. The tension stayed consistent. The click remained satisfying from rep 1 to rep 1,000.

A micro-adjustment mechanism is only as good as its longevity. A clasp that loosens over time — one that gradually loses its click, its tension, its security — defeats the purpose entirely.

We know this. So before this clasp shipped, we put it through a 1,000-repetition pull-push test: the equivalent of adjusting your fit twice a day, every day, for well over a year. The mechanism held. The tension stayed consistent. The click remained satisfying from rep 1 to rep 1,000.

The snap-fit system uses two precision-machined "humps" in the spring bar path to create resistance at each adjustment position. The actuation force was calibrated to be firm enough to prevent accidental opening — but smooth enough to adjust with one hand, on the wrist, without looking.

Chat with Us →
Which width clasp should I buy? +
You should buy the clasp width that matches the tapered (narrow) end of your CTS Rubber Strap — not the lug width. For example, a 20–16mm CTS Strap requires a 16mm clasp. A 20–18mm strap requires an 18mm clasp. If you're unsure, check your strap's product page or reach out to us — we'll confirm in seconds.
Is this compatible with my existing CTS Rubber Strap? +
Yes. The Micro-Adjust CTS Deployant Clasp is fully backwards compatible with all existing Delugs CTS Rubber Straps, provided you select the correct clasp width. It installs using the same spring bar system as the standard CTS Deployant Clasp.
How much adjustment does it provide? +
The clasp provides 3mm of adjustment on each side, for a total of 6mm. Each side snaps between two positions — tighter and looser — using the snap-fit mechanism. Adjustment is done with a firm tug and requires no tools.
Is the tool-free mechanism secure? Won't it open accidentally? +
The snap-fit mechanism was specifically calibrated to require enough force to prevent accidental triggers during normal wear, while remaining easy to adjust intentionally. The custom spring bars were designed to reinforce the snap-fit's reliability. The design was validated through a 1,000-repetition pull-push test for daily wear use.
Can I buy this clasp for a non-CTS strap? +
No. The Micro-Adjust CTS Deployant Clasp is designed exclusively for Delugs CTS Rubber Straps. It will not fit standard leather, fabric, or universal rubber straps. This is because the clasp is engineered to work with the specific taper and hole pattern of CTS Rubber Straps.
How do I size my CTS Strap correctly with this clasp? +
Always set the clasp to its tightest position before finalising the cut of your CTS Rubber Strap. This ensures you have 3mm of loosening room available once the clasp is installed. If you cut the strap with the clasp at a loose setting, you may end up with a strap that's too long at its tightest. Refer to our CTS Strap sizing guide for full instructions.
What is included in the box? +
Each Micro-Adjust CTS Deployant Clasp ships with the clasp itself, custom spring bars pre-installed, and 2 spare spring bars. No additional tools are required for installation.
