Introduction
We recently hosted our first-ever physical launch event at our headquarters in Singapore for the Rubber Cut-To-Size (“CTS”) series, which was a resounding success. Watch enthusiasts, industry professionals, and Delugs fans from all over attended the event, marking the first opportunity for the public to try on the new straps, and for us to see and talk in person with our customers and partners.
The event was a lot of fun, meeting up with fellow watch collectors and fans of Delugs. We are grateful for everyone's support, and glad to be able to provide a venue for collectors to do what they love to do - chat about watches! Stay tuned for future events from Delugs!
We started off with a run-through of the state of the industry, with particular emphasis on existing offerings (or lack thereof) for rubber straps and accompanying clasps. We then unveiled our response to this, and our foray into the rubber strap market, with the CTS Rubber Strap and Clasp. This introduction set the stage for guests to understand what we were trying to achieve with this release, before trying on the straps and clasps for themselves.

Getting an up-close look at the easy customisation process and trying on various colour combinations
The Delugs Team was on hand to demonstrate the features of the new CTS straps and clasps. Many guests who were already excited about what they were in for at a Delugs launch brought watches to give it a go. Being inspired by various combinations around the room, and trying on different colours, made the whole experience very engaging and fun! After seeing the ease of customisation for themselves, some even took home additional pieces to pair with their watches at home!
Of course, as the adage goes — pictures or it didn’t happen. Many relished taking photographs of their fresh new pairings, and we also had our very own photographer, Paul (give him a follow @apaullowatches) on-site to lend a hand.

Online launch
In addition to the in-person launch, we also had a simultaneous online launch which garnered immense and positive responses from the global watch community. Instagram was flooded with posts from our group of testers who helped to put the product through its paces over the past few weeks, to provide their honest opinions on the strap, and share about it with their communities. A few of our partners also wrote full length reviews!

Satisfying demand
Following the event, our operations team worked hard to get up to speed on orders and get the straps out to eager customers.
Looking forward, we plan to continue engaging with the community to take in feedback from customers to improve the next iteration of the CTS straps, and to learn about what other products the watch community might want. In particular, we would like to thank watch enthusiasts and publications who took, and continue to take, the time out to test and provide honest, detailed, and thoughtful feedback on our products. Those familiar with us will know we thrive on this kind of engagement as a community.
