Over the weekend of 8 and 9 November, our flagship boutique at Raffles Hotel Arcade hosted Golden Hour — Independent Series, a showcase dedicated to four standout independent watch brands: Baltic, Dennison, SpaceOne and Christopher Ward. Designed as an open, interactive experience, the event invited guests to meet brand representatives, discover their latest creations and enjoy first looks at a few upcoming releases.

A Relaxed Space for Discovery
The boutique was transformed into a lounge-style open house, with each brand setting up its own dedicated showcase table. Guests were free to explore at their own pace — chatting with founders, handling the watches and comparing notes with fellow collectors. The mood was easygoing yet electric, filled with the kind of conversations that happen only when passionate makers and equally passionate enthusiasts meet face-to-face.
Highlights from the Independent Line-Up
Each brand brought a distinct personality to the showcase. Baltic drew attention for its consistently balanced design language and popular Prismatic series. At the same time, Dennison’s table reflected the same stylistic refinement that the brand has come to be known for, with its recent ALD Dual Time watches offering a nod to travel-friendly functionality.
SpaceOne stood out with its futuristic aesthetic — bold case forms and sci-fi-inspired displays that invited double takes from visitors seeing the brand for the first time. Christopher Ward rounded off the line-up with something old made new: A forthcoming C1 Jump Hour Mark V which made its public debut during the weekend.
Connecting Collectors and Creators
Throughout the weekend, the boutique buzzed with conversations between collectors, first-time visitors and brand representatives. Guests compared impressions, shared collecting stories and traded wrist shots over coffee, making the event as much a social gathering as a product showcase.
Celebrating Independent Spirit
Golden Hour — Independent Series continued Delugs’ ongoing mission to celebrate creativity and craftsmanship within independent watchmaking. By bringing together brands with distinct philosophies and design languages under one roof, the event reaffirmed our flagship boutique’s role as a meeting place for horological discovery — where enthusiasts can connect, learn and experience watches beyond the mainstream.
