About MING

An independent watch brand, built around light, form and colour.

Horologer MING is an independent watch brand built on refined aesthetics paired with innovative materials and engineering. Led by founder Ming Thein, a designer and photographer, the brand is renowned for exploiting the properties of light, form and colour — pieces that reward careful observation and dynamically reflect their environment.

Through their Special Projects Cave, MING has introduced industry firsts: the sapphire Mosaic, Hyceram, and the LW.01 — the world's lightest production mechanical watch at 8.8g. Their work earned the Horological Revelation Prize at the 2019 GPHG, the Sports Watch Prize in 2024, and led to the co-founding of the Alternative Horological Alliance with JN Shapiro and Fleming.

We've worked with the team at MING since their first trunk show with us. This time we hosted them for a full weekend, then kept the lineup on display for a week of walk-in viewing — eight watches at the boutique through 18 May, four available for purchase on the spot, and pre-orders welcome for the 37.08 Twilight and 57.04 Phoenix.

Boutique stock is limited to four references — first come, first served — once it's gone, those models remain orderable, with delivery from MING after the event. Pre-orders for the 37.08 Twilight, 57.04 Phoenix, and MING Polymesh are also taken on-site, with delivery direct from MING.

The MING Polymesh.

The Polymesh is something new — a design that straddles the boundaries of familiar categories like bracelets and straps. By combining the strength and tactility of metal with the comfort of cloth, it represents the world's first 3D-printed titanium bracelet-strap hybrid, made possible by laser sintering and compatible with every 20mm MING watch in the lineup.

Do I need an appointment?

No. The trunk show with Nida and Jason from MING was on 9 – 10 May (now ended). From 11 May through 18 May, the full lineup is on display at the boutique — walk in anytime, 11am – 8pm, no appointment needed.

Will I be able to buy a watch on the spot?

Yes. Four references are stocked at the boutique — 37.02 Minimalist, 37.02 Monolith, 37.09 Bluefin, 37.09 Uni — first come, first served, available throughout the event window until 18 May 2026.

What if the in-stock pieces are sold out by the time I get there?

Every model in the lineup remains orderable. The only difference is delivery: stocked pieces walk out the door same day; pre-orders ship direct from MING after the event.

What about the new release? Can I buy one?

Yes — the new model can be pre-ordered on the day, with delivery from MING in early June 2026. Allocation is particularly limited, so secure your slot early. No deposit required to attend, but order confirmation is on a first-come basis.

Can I order the 57.04 Phoenix?

Yes. The Phoenix is on display only (not stocked at the boutique), but pre-orders are accepted on-site with delivery from MING from June 2026.

How much do MING watches cost?

Pricing follows MING's official retail. Our team can walk you through the full pricing on the day, or feel free to email us in advance if you'd like to know before you come.

Can I bring friends?

Of course. Each appointment is for up to two people — if you're coming as a group of three or more, just drop us a message in advance so we can plan accordingly.

I'm not in Singapore — can I still order?

Unfortunately, no. Orders for this event are only accepted in person at the Singapore boutique. If you're not in Singapore, you'll need to visit the boutique to place an order.
