Every card holder is handcrafted by our leather artisans from start to finish. Die-cut, hand-assembled and hand-stitched, each card holder takes the full attention of our team of artisans. 

Dubbed the diamond of leathers, shell cordovan is made from the muscle around the horse's rump which forms a "shell". Complicated tanning techniques and scarcity of the raw material make this leather exceedingly rare. 

Despite such difficulties, it is unsurprising that tanneries who produce this leather do so - it is completely worth the trouble. Supremely strong and yet pliable, these card holders are likely to last much longer than your cards, and in that time develop a beautiful patina while maintaining its natural texture.
