My Explorer had never been off its bracelet as it’s extremely comfortable as far as bracelets go. When I started seeing curved ended strap options for the Explorer, I had to give it a try. Speaking of curved ended strap — why would you need one? Some watches such as the Explorer may not fit well with some straps due to the spring bar attachments being close to the case, which does not offer enough space for your strap to fit and articulate properly. A curved ended strap solves that problem.
The strap came quickly and as with all my previous Delugs purchases, it did not disappoint. All Delugs straps come with quick release spring bars which should be the the new normal as far as straps go! The leather is sumptuous and buttery smooth. While looking at the stitching and the painted edges, it exudes a high level of quality and visually flawless. The way Delugs executes their straps comes in at a much higher level than what we are asked to pay for — these are truly worthy of your hard earned dollars.
First things first: this strap was MTO. I asked for a specific length, and then I decided that maybe I should try something different and asked if they were still able to change it, and they did (which was very accommodating). It’s the best fitting, the most flexible, and the most versatile strap I own. It feels wonderful, the white contrasting stitching is lovely, and the taper is very very well done. I highly recommend this type of leather from Delugs because it WILL be the most used strap in your collection. I absolutely love it. I will likely buy another color combination or style in the future because it’s worth it.
Bought the Izmir blue , short length. Colour was great, stitching was even, leather soft. Good value!
