Alcantara material from Italy is a cutting-edge material that offers unparalleled aesthetic, technical and sensory qualities. While it is most similar to suede and microfiber, it would be inaccurate to categorise Alcantara as any of those material. It is most commonly used in the interior of luxury cars, but its uses has since expanded to everyday goods like wallets, card holders, phone covers, bags etc. It is extremely soft to the touch, and provides a very luxurious feel when made into a strap.

Wanted to dress down this ALS Saxonia Thin and the Alcantara material was perfect! Feels very high quality, the brushed clasp was nicer than expected, and the strap is easy to put on and take off! I don’t have to struggle and bend the strap back 180 degrees to delatch the pin haha! Will definitely order another strap for this Lange, maybe I’ll try out their Slim style bands next :)
