Decided to leave a review after a few weeks of wear. Great workmanship and leather quality. Very comfortable on the wrist, loving the 4mm taper from lug to buckle end.
On a whim, I decided to try a Delugs strap (Signature in Chromexcel) on my Speedmaster FOIS. I couldn't believe how nice it looked and how comfortable it was from the first wear. These are absolutely going to be my new go-to straps.
The strap arrived at my doorstep (Singapore to Malaysia) within a week and my first impressions of the strap were pretty good. The color scheme was beautiful, the stitching felt sturdy, and the overall strap felt well-made.
I would have preferred the buckle to be engraved rather than just a print as it could fade over time. Some parts of the stitching were very slightly uneven but it was very minor and barely noticeable.
Overall, would I recommend the strap to others? Yes I would. I greatly appreciate the customisable length of the strap as my wrists are tiny. And the strap itself, despite very minor issues, is very well-made. It's now my go-to strap for some of my favorite watches.
Hey Je Sen, thanks for the feedback! We do agree that engraved buckle would be nicer - going forward our newer straps will all have engraved buckle and not laser etched ones!
As for the stitching unevenness, as each one is handcrafted, there will be some variance in the stitching. But we do our best to minimise such issues. If there are glaring mistakes, do let me know and I will remedy it as best as I can.
Great leather straps! There's no need for breaking in the straps. One of the better quality ones at this price point. However, the only MINOR downside is that there is some paint spots/residue on the underside of the strap. The Delugs stamp on the buckle wasn't centred too. Again, minor flaws. Overall, the strap is super comfortable and supple for everyday wear, especially for Singapore's weather.
+ Great customer service. I made a wrong order by ordering size S instead of M. Emailed them about it and they quickly responded and amend my order. Thanks!
