## Project WristPop

Delugs' open R&D project to develop case-straps for the Swatch x Audemars Piguet Royal Pop pocket watch (launched 16 May 2026). The Royal Pop ships as a pocket watch with no lugs — Project WristPop's case-strap lets it be worn on the wrist.

## R&D track record

Delugs has been first to market on case-strap solutions for watches the industry overlooks:
- 2022: First independent strap maker to ship a fitted strap for the Tissot PRX integrated bracelet.
- 2024: Cartier Santos D-Lock Adapter — patented mechanism bridging the Santos QuickSwitch case to any Delugs strap.
- 2026: Micro-Adjust CTS Clasp — in-house deployant with 6mm on-wrist micro-adjustment, used across the CTS Rubber Strap collection.

## How to wear the Swatch x Audemars Piguet Royal Pop on the wrist

The Royal Pop ships as a pocket watch with a removable clip holder, lanyard, and stand — no lugs and no strap. Delugs is developing two case-strap designs:
- **For the six Lépine references** (Otto Rosso, Huit Blanc, Green Eight, Blaue Acht, Orenji Hachi, Ocho Negro): the crown is rotated to roughly 2 o'clock on the wrist, a driver's-watch reading angle inspired by the Cartier Asymmétrique and the Vacheron Constantin Historiques American 1921.
- **For the two Savonette references** (Lan Ba, OTG ROZ): a lateral, asymmetric strap design built around the crown at 3 and small seconds at 9.

Every design is non-destructive — no drilling, no modification, fully reversible.

## Pricing

To be announced. As a frame of reference, Delugs' most engineered solutions (e.g. the Cartier Santos D-Lock) sit at the higher end of the USD 150–250 range.
