The wait is over - you can now get custom leather watch straps made for your Vacheron Constantin Overseas.
If you're reading this, you would probably already know how well-regarded the VC Overseas is. While the watch has a lot going for it, one of the key selling points was the extremely thoughtful design of the strap attachment system - you can easily switch between different straps and the bracelet (in seconds and without tools!) with their proprietary quick change system. But being a proprietary system, that meant that you had to get straps only through Vacheron Constantin - good if you prefer to stick with OEM, but not so good for your wallet. There wasn't any viable alternatives on the market, until now.
These straps are entirely handcrafted by our leather artisan, and you can choose from the wide range of leather that we have on offer. Compared to the OEM VCO leather strap, there are five main differences in our straps.
Just received my custom order Vacheron Overseas leather strap. First I will say the finished product is excellent and Delugs’ quick release system works perfectly with the OEM system. The quality is very good. The leather is softer than OEM, and has already conformed to my wrist. I only have a few issues that keep this from being a 5-star (perfect) review. First, it took quite a while to receive (4 months). Delugs did give me a 5% refund because of the wait. I realize there are still supply chain issues, but I had no follow up after the original order to let me know there was a delay. I had to initiate the inquirery after the 3rd month. Second the color of the leather is much darker than it appeared online. I know this is the risk we take when ordering anything like this online. I generalIy order lighter colored leather for custom straps because I know they get darker over time. It did not work for this order. I think the website could be improved and the selection of materials made easier to view so this does not happen to the customer. If you are interested in one of their custom straps I would recommend a conversation with an associate before placing the order. This might avoid some of the minor issues I had. Overall the quality, fit and finish are 5 stars. The online ordering system, images, communication, 3.5 stars. Next time I order it will be with a SA.
Very good leather quality. The thickness, the texture, the bend on the wrist is very good. Stitching too is very neatly done. The only slight problem is the ability to quickly release and snap it back on the case. It’s a little difficult compared to the VC.

I looked all over and was only able to find straps on Delugs. The fit and quality is amazing. I highly recommend them for anyone looking for bespoke straps.
