Saffiano leather is extremely popular amongst mainstream fashion. Even if you don't know its name, you probably have seen it before. It's an embossed pattern that has very pronounced and uniform grain. The scratch and water resistance of Saffiano is amongst the best there is. Paired in our Stitchless style, this is the casual strap you can keep on your wrist all year long.
I like this particular strap because it is so pliable, comfortable and lightweight. I wish the deployant strap was also slim (in this case, the deployant does not match the strap well in terms of elegance as it abutts a little bit outward). Due to this, the strap looks better and more slim with the original buckle. But the experience of wearing the strap is really great. I wear it on my Rolex Datejust 1600 (Vintage).
Have already bought a couple of straps from delugs, this might be one of the times where I feel underwhelmed by the quality of the strap. It did not look like the photos online and came looking a little tired, with small but noticeable faded patches. Overall it's ok, just not worth the money I paid for this.

Today I got my Tank Louis. Back home I wanted to change the strap. Impossible to change!!! Had a strap for my Patek Calatrava from Delugs before, was perfect, this time poor quality and the quick change was Impossible to handle.
Hi Martijn, it might be possible that the leather is too thick around the spring bar, as Saffiano is quite a stiff leather, and the Tank has a very short lug. We would recommend to shop from our Cartier Tank strap collection, we've made those straps with very thin leather around the spring bar, so that they would fit the Tank.
