Buttero leather from Conceria Walpier is the king of patina. The leather tells your story - it picks up whatever marks or scratches, but those quickly fade and merge into the leather. With enough time and wear, this leather will develop a beautiful sheen and also darken in shade, with each faded mark reminding you of a time in your life.
Very soft and comfortable strap. Feels like it will age well. The pink undertones in the leather really pick up on with the gold toned numerals.
Ordered the buttero strap in the natural. Quality is exceptional. Looking forward to seeing how this ages over time. Looks amazing on my ck2998, and elevates the watch to a new level. Very comfortable as well.
The natural buttero strap I ordered for my Blancpain 1186 fit the watch perfectly and transformed the look of it exactly how I wanted it to (it’s worth noting here that being able to chat through Instagram DMs and ask for advice on strap pairings etc before ordering is also a great positive aspect of the Delugs experience). However, what I love about this strap isn’t just how it fits the watch - Delugs really gives you a feeling of quality and appreciation of the strap as beautiful by itself, even apart from the watch you put it on. This isn’t something you experience with just any strap maker, and I’m about to order a few more Delugs straps to go on some of my other watches as well.
