If you want to instantly class up your timepiece and get it ready for a dressed up occasion, pair it with an Alligator strap and you are ready. Go with a handcrafted, Alligator strap and not some embossed pattern, because it isn't the same and you know it.
I spent a lot of time searching online for the right strap for my Omega Deville. The stock strap was semi-glossy black alligator, and too long for my 6.25” wrist. I had several criteria in mind when buying a new strap. It needed to be shorter than the OEM strap. It needed to be more versatile. It needed to be authentic alligator. Delugs was the only brand I found that was making a product that checked off all the boxes for me. The tan/brown made it more casual/versatile. Quick release pins make it easy to swap on and off. The fit is perfect for me. Will consider additional purchases from them in other colors as well.

I feel like this strap gives the Murph watch that extra hint of class that elevates it to another level. I sent a picture to a friend right after putting it on and his words sum it all up. "When I think of a gentleman's watch, that's pretty close to the image in my mind."
I thought it would be just a shade or two darker than it is, and I would love it even more if it were. It's often quite difficult to tell precisely what color a hand-maid item will be when purchased online, so that in no way detracts from the quality of the strap; it's just a little nit-pick on my part.
I would suggest you consider getting this strap just a little bit longer than others unless you plan to use it with a deployant clasp. Tightening the buckle can be difficult when you have to fight the texture of the alligator hide. Having that extra length can really help with putting the watch on and taking it off.
This strap oozes hand made to me. I have owned bespoke straps and this strap took only a second for me to really pay attention to the detail to realize what I had attached to my timepiece. It quickly conformed to my wrist. Made my luxury piece look even more intriguing. Even without choosing the portion of leather, I feel like they choose the pattern and leather that I would have personally chose. It's pure class!
