The quintessential brown leather strap. Barenia leather from Haas tannery in France is widely used by Hermes, and Hermes doesn't just choose any leather to use. It only uses the best. This is the same Barenia that Apple uses for its Apple Watch strap, and Hermes for its Birkin bag.
Barenia leather is soft and supple, with just the right firmness. It has a very smooth surface, with just a tiny bit of gloss. Closer inspection can reveal the beautiful grain on this leather. It has moderate scratch resistance which means you don't need to baby the strap. Small scratches can be buffed out with just some slight rubbing. This also means that Barenia is able to develop a beautiful patina that results in a slight darkening of the leather with use.
Note: Fauve Barenia is slightly darker in shade than tan Barenia. We are discontinuing tan Barenia and will only stock up on Fauve.
Waited 5 months to get the strap and it was well worth the wait. Right out of the box the strap was very comfortable. The color is vibrant and it brings out the colours on the Tudor 1926 and Cartier tank. The Fauve Barenia is nice and soft - you can't beat quality leather like this.
Shipping was reasonably fast after payment and the delivery was extremely fast. Straps came very well packaged. Overall, I find the straps to be of very high quality as expected. The stitching is uniform and holes are well-punched. Straps are soft and comfortable.
Received brown Fauve Barenia Signature Strap for my Cartier Tank faster than I thought. Impeccable quality, down to the build of the buckle and quick release spring bars. Love the color shade, stitching, thickness, and quality of leather. Even plastic folder sleeve for strap is nicely done. Very impressed and will certainly order more.
