Saffiano leather is extremely popular amongst mainstream fashion, made popular by Prada. Even if you don't know its name, you probably have seen it before. It's an embossed pattern that has very pronounced and uniform grain. The scratch and water resistance of Saffiano is amongst the best there is.
Note: These straps will also fit other Cartier models, as long as the lug width is the same. For example, the Tank Small strap will fit the Tank Cintree, which has a 16mm lug width. It will not fit the Tank Solo models, which come in different lug widths.

I have a lovely Cartier Tank watch but was never super impressed with the black leather strap that came with it. I bought the navy blue Saffiano strap and it is perfect, gorgeous and elevates the watch. Easy to install too.
